Sometimes our projects go way beyond conventional construction. Spain Commercial Inc. felt honored to be a part of a historical moment at the First Baptist Church of Williamsburg, formed by free and enslaved African Americans in 1776. Our team was there in 2016 to help remove and prepare the Church’s 510-pound Freedom Bell for its trip to Washington, D.C. where it was rung by President Barack Obama in the opening ceremony of the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
